When you have the greatest and most iconic double IPA in Kentucky, you don’t want to change it. But it does give us a great opportunity to try some different techniques to alter and improve our processes and always have a control to compare it to. This beer has the exact same ingredients and amounts of malt and hops. The only difference is where in the process we added the dry hops. The resultant beer has a much more tropical, juicy and fruit forward aroma and flavor while limiting some of the dank and resinous characters present in its parent beer.
