2^nd Annual Burgoo Bash Cocktail Competition

To kick-off our third annual Burgoo Bash, we welcome participants for this cocktail contest sponsored by The Amp at Log Still Distillery. On March 3rd, meet us at Against the Grain at Slugger Field to show us what you got!

Participants

Anyone is allowed to enter that is 21 & over, that has a flair for maxing cocktails.

Criteria

The cocktail must include Monks Road Small Batch Bourbon. The name and theme of the cocktail must incorporate any hit song by the National Recording artist Alabama. Recipes will need to be submitted to [email protected] by midnight on 2/28.  The Log Still judges will select the Top 6 finalists to compete in a live competition on 3/3.

Live Competition 3/3 2pm

Each participant will have a table, bourbon, and cups provided to sample the public during the event. Each finalist will also be given a time slot to create their cocktail at the main bar for five Log Still Distillery judges. The emcee will announce you & play your cocktail theme song as you take the main bar stage to create & craft your cocktail.

You will make one full cocktail for the presentation (responsible for your glassware for the presentation), as well as enough to pour out 4oz samples to the judges.

 The crowd will also be able to view your performance, so encourage your friends to come and cheer you on! Getting into the theme is encouraged!

Judging

Participants will be judged on; Creativity with Alabama theme, glass presentation, and, of course…taste!!!

Prizes

The proud winner of the cocktail contest will receive;

• $400
• A pair of tickets to the Alabama concert
• A pair of tickets to the Burgoo Bash
• Their cocktail recipe will be the official recipe of Burgoo Bash & Alabama Concert at Log Still Distillery, featured on Log Still Distillery’s social media pages.
• ATG swag

Second place winner will receive $100 and ATG swag.
