Grandma’s Purple Nipple, originally Grandma’s Purple Nurple, but turns out “nurple” doesn’t translate well in French. Anywho, this tart, floral sour was brewed with our friends in France at La Debauche. Brewed with lavender and raspberries, this beer offers a rich nose, almost camphorated, on crushed raspberry notes. Its light acidity, balanced by lavender, and its modest degree of alcohol, make it an extraordinarily original and refreshing flavored beer.
