Don’t Chokeatubé, Wakatubé!!!

An India Pale Ale featuring New Zealand’s Wakatu hops. The New Zealand hop is an ancestor of German Hallertau but has a more pronounced character. Hailed as a “dual purpose” hop (aroma and bittering), Wakatu has clear pine notes and a slightly more subtle vanilla undercurrent. The base IPA grain bill includes Pale malt and Munich malts as well as oats, while the hops provide spice character and earthy notes similar in character to old German cultivars, and citrus flavor such as lime making this a flavorful and interesting IPA.
