One Helluva Lass! An Oak-aged Wee Heavy with a rich malt body, bit of booze and a truly complex layering of Oak flavors. We aged this traditional Scottish Ale in a mix of medium-toasted French, American and Hybrid Oak barrels in an experiment to see just which wood contributes what flavors. We then blended it all together and we really like what the resultant beer has to say. A bit of vanilla from her American heritage, a bit of floral character from her French background and a bit of spicy who-knows-what from her varied, Hybrid background. That mélange truly makes this lil’ lady exceptional.
